Okay, so I'm developing a game in AS2. One of the things I want the avatar to do is walk from place to place instead of, like, scroll. Basically I know it has something to do with the X and Y coordinates, and then once you decide the direction the avatar movieclip switches to that direction's frame and plays a walking animation.
How could I do this? Not sure what else I need to say because I haven't posted on here often..But if anyone could help, thanks!
Forgot to add: the avatar is walking by clicking an area on the stage.
